PBIS FAQ

What is PBIS?

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based three-tiered framework for improving and integrating all of the data, systems, and practices affecting student outcomes every day. PBIS is for every student; It helps us create a school culture where all students are successful.

How can parents support PBIS at our school?

We appreciate your efforts in supporting VES students in creating a culture of HEROES. Please review the expectations listed on the PBIS Matrix with your child. We value our partnership with parents in teaching and reinforcing these school-wide expectations. We ask that parents also use PBIS at home.
